STAGE 02
Is this approach worth testing in people?
Studies in cells and, depending on the programme, animals explore effects and safety. They do not prove a benefit in humans.
This journey is simplified: some phases are combined. An approach may stop, change or never become a treatment. Observational studies follow a different path.
Questions we all have.
Does “recruiting” mean there is a place for us?
Not necessarily. Confirm the site’s availability and criteria directly with the study team.
Does a completed study necessarily have positive results?
No. “Completed” describes study progress, not its results. Findings may be favourable, unfavourable, uncertain or not yet published.
Why not give an availability date?
Because the next steps depend on results, safety and regulatory decisions. An unconfirmed date would create false certainty.
