The aim, simply

DAFFODIL studied trofinetide without placebo. The registry reports an early end after US approval in 2023 to allow a switch to the marketed medicine.

Criteria: guidance, not eligibility

The registry includes girls aged 2 to 4, or age 5 with weight ≥9 kg and <12 kg. The paper analyses 15 participants; the lack of placebo limits efficacy interpretation.
